It seemed appropriate to end our week with one of my best shots from the Flower and Garden Festival. I took this on our first ever visit to the Festival. We were strolling along the rose garden path between World Showcase and Future World. The "Festival Blooms" along the water made for a striking backdrop for any picture, and the roses were very cooperative subjects. I cropped this picture slightly from the original, and boosted the saturation and increased the shadows.

That is a nice shot. Isn't it interesting that quite often our first shots of something are the best? I still think as an overall shoot, by first F&G is my best.

Thanks, Jud. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to my photography and what shots come out the best. Sometimes I go through great lengths to set up a shot and it doesn't turn out. Other times I just 'point and shoot' and it ends up looking amazing. This one was a case where the effort paid off.
